Markus Somerville is a seasoned professional in the yachting industry, currently serving as a High Performance Development Coach, Talent Development Coach, and Olympic Training Partner at Yachting New Zealand since July 2020. Additionally, Markus holds a marketing position at North Sails since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Retail Sales Assistant at Just Another Fisherman and a Range Development Assistant at Mr & Mrs Styles. Markus also worked as a Professional Sailor for Aon Fast Track from January 2017 to January 2018. Markus obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Management and Marketing from Auckland University of Technology, completing studies in 2020.
