Steven Muccino is an experienced educator and coach with a robust background in social studies and aquatics management. Currently serving as a 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher and High School Swim Coach at North Providence School Department since November 2009, Steven has achieved numerous Division III State Championships and focuses on motivating student-athletes through positive engagement. Previously, Steven taught 8th Grade Social Studies at Burrillville School District and worked as a Bicycle Technician at DICK'S Sporting Goods. As Aquatics Director for the Town of North Providence, Steven was responsible for program planning, staff training, and maintaining aquatic safety standards. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Rhode Island College, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, and is pursuing a Master of Education in School Leadership from Providence College.
