Lauren Hedlund is an experienced educator and school counselor currently serving as a Middle School Counselor at North Polk Community School District since August 2022. In addition to counseling students in grades 6-8, Lauren also holds coaching positions for various middle school sports, including cross country, basketball, and track. Prior experience includes a role as a Middle School Counselor at BONDURANT-FARRAR COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT and teaching 5th grade at Ankeny Community School District. Lauren's educational background includes a Master's degree in Professional School Counseling from Buena Vista University and a Bachelor's degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. Additional experience includes roles as a Summer Camp Counselor at Life Time Inc. and teaching positions at Beyond The Bell and The Arc of the United States.
