Andrew Muirhead IEng has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew most recently worked at North Oil Company Qatar, starting in 2018. Andrew held the roles of Inspection Methods Team Lead and Inspection Engineer, with their role as Team Lead ongoing.

Prior to that, Andrew worked at Applus+ Velosi from 2009 to 2018. During their time there, they held various roles such as Lead NDT Eng/Site Rep/Level 3 and Technical Coordinator. Andrew'sresponsibilities included tracking and coordinating inspection work, as well as performing multi-disciplined NDT technician tasks.

Before joining Applus+ Velosi, Andrew Muirhead worked at RBG Limited from 2002 to 2009 as a Senior Specialist NDT Coordinator. Andrew served as the Senior Advanced NDT Coordinator, Site Rep, NDT Coordinator, and multi-disciplined NDT technician.

Andrew's work experience also includes a role as NDT Supervisor at Saferad in 2001. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing seven radiography teams on a large LNG construction project in Bintulu, Malaysia and also worked as Lead Radiographer for offshore projects in the South China Sea.

Overall, Andrew Muirhead IEng has a strong background in inspection methods, NDT coordination, and radiography supervision, making him a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in these areas.

Andrew Muirhead IEng has a diverse and extensive education history. Andrew obtained a BSc in NDT from the University of Northampton in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance from Teesside University between 1992 and 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew Muirhead IEng has also earned several certifications. Andrew obtained the API 510 certification from the API - American Petroleum Institute in January 2018, followed by the API 570 and API 570 Piping Inspector certifications in November 2017. Andrew became an Incorporated Engineer accredited by the Engineering Council in April 2016. Prior to that, they obtained various non-destructive testing certifications including ASNT NDT Level III in Eddy Current Testing, Visual and Optical Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing in 2014 and 2013. Andrew also holds PCN Level 3 certification in Ultrasonic Testing and Level 2 certifications in Ultrasonic Testing for Welds - Plate, Pipe, Tee, Nozzle, Node, DPI, MPI, and RTi from the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, which were obtained between 2003 and 1999. With this combination of education and certifications, Andrew Muirhead IEng has established a strong foundation in non-destructive testing and engineering.
