John Cassarino has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving at the North Miami Beach Police Department since June 1993 in various roles, including Police Officer, Police Sergeant, Police Lieutenant, and currently as a Police Captain. From 2001 to 2003, John worked as a Private Consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs, participating as a Law Enforcement Practitioner on Peer Review Panels for the Science and Technology Grant Program. Additionally, John served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from May 1987 to August 1993 as an Anti-Tank Missileman with the 8th Tank Battalion, receiving an Honorable Discharge. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
