Astrid Harwood has extensive experience in the education and youth support sectors, currently serving as a Study Programme Keyworker and Tutor at North Lancs Training Group Limited since April 2014, where responsibilities include delivering Functional Maths and English qualifications and conducting initial assessments with learners. Previously, Astrid held the position of Prince's Trust Team Leader at Groundwork Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford, where recruitment of NEET individuals and development of training sessions were key duties. Astrid has also served as a Project Officer for Groundwork MSSTT, focusing on re-engaging at-risk youth through alternative education projects, and as a Volunteer Officer with St Andrew's Church Girls' Brigade, providing support and supervision to young participants. Before entering the education field, Astrid gained customer service experience at Digibet Ltd. Astrid holds a PGCE in Secondary Teaching and a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Foreign Languages from The University of Manchester.
