Ioni Tcholakova is a Senior Transit Planner at North County Transit District, with a robust background in transit planning, mobility solutions, and environmental justice. Ioni's expertise includes GIS data analysis, service planning, stakeholder engagement, and grant application assistance. Previous roles include Mobility Solutions Coordinator with AmeriCorps VISTA at the County of Hawai'i, where Ioni developed mobility pilot projects and facilitated zero-emission fleet transformations. Ioni also contributed to environmental advocacy through internships with organizations such as Interfaith Coalition for Earth Justice and I Love A Clean San Diego.
