William 'Billy' Traurig currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for North Carolina Education Lottery since April 2020. Traurig is a co-owner of Chatham Station Events Center and Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios, North Hills, both established in January 2018 and March 2019 respectively, while also having co-owned Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios, Falls River from March 2017 to April 2022. Previously, Traurig held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Carolina Hurricanes from October 1999 to March 2020, overseeing legal affairs, negotiations, and agreements related to club and arena operations. Traurig's educational background includes a BA in Government and an MBA in Accounting from Clark University, along with a JD from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
