McNeil Chestnut is an experienced legal professional and educator with a distinguished career in government relations and academia. Since November 2014, McNeil has practiced law in a limited capacity after retiring as the Senior Financial Lawyer from the Office of the Attorney General, where notable clients included the Departments of State Treasurer, Commerce, Revenue, Cultural Resources, the NC Housing Finance Agency, and the Credit Union Administration. Concurrently, McNeil has served as a Visiting Professor of Fiduciary Law and Administration at Campbell University's Law School since 1984, contributing expertise in fiduciary liability and legal ethics through national speaking engagements. McNeil holds a B.S. in Trust Management and a J.D. from Campbell University.
