Cheryl Parks Parks has extensive experience in taxation and auditing, currently serving as a Tax Auditor for the North Carolina Department of Commerce since February 2020. Prior to this role, Cheryl worked as a Business Personal Property Auditor and Certified Deputy Tax Collector for Mecklenburg County from December 2008 to February 2020. Earlier in the career, Cheryl held positions such as Quality Control Specialist at the American Red Cross and Business Analyst at Americredit Financial Services, Inc., along with working as a Public Health Specialist at Moses Cone Behavioral Health. Cheryl holds a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University, and a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
