Richard Barton has over two decades of experience in design, currently serving as the Design Director for the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources since December 2007. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Product Designer at Adstracts Inc. from 2003 to 2007 and gained valuable experience as a Web Designer and Graphic Designer at the News & Observer from 1997 to 2003. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from East Carolina University, obtained in 1997.
