Emily Bruce is the Director of Major Gifts at The North Carolina Aquarium Society, a role held since September 2023. With extensive experience in nonprofit development, Emily previously served as a Senior Associate and executive search lead at moss+ross from September 2020 to September 2023, where advisory services were provided to numerous organizations including the North Carolina Aquarium Society. Prior positions include Vice President of Development at Marbles Kids Museum, Director of Development at the North Carolina Symphony, and Director of Philanthropy at North Carolina Theatre, among others. Emily holds a B.S. in History, Technology and Society from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MPA in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
