Lauren Smith is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Since June 2022, Lauren has worked at North Bay Regional Health Centre in the Operating Room. Previous roles include Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Trillium Health Partners from July 2020 to June 2022, and Public Health Nurse at Halton Region for a brief period in 2021. Prior to these positions, Lauren served as a HERlead Fellow with Vital Voices Global Partnership from 2014 to February 2021, and completed a Clinical Externship in the Emergency Department at Trillium Health Partners from May 2019 to April 2020. Lauren also has experience as a Peer Tutor and Student Exam Proctor at Nipissing University, and has held various support roles in health and community services. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Nipissing University, earned from September 2016 to May 2020.
