Julie Pabillar is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in public health and nursing. Currently serving as the Program Manager for Sexual Health & Clinical Information at the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit since September 2022, Julie previously held various roles at Halton Region including Manager and Supervisor of COVID-19 Outbreak Management, where Julie oversaw case management and health education related to sexually transmitted infections and harm reduction. Prior experience includes serving as a Public Health Nurse in the Healthy Sexuality Program, an Intensive Care Nurse in multiple ICUs, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Julie began a journey towards a Master's in Health Studies at Athabasca University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Nursing obtained from Toronto Metropolitan University. Julie's career reflects a strong commitment to health promotion, education, and support for vulnerable populations.
