Brett Kaplan is an experienced real estate professional and investment manager with a comprehensive background in various sectors of real estate and finance. Currently serving as a Partner at Peak State Properties since April 2019 and Founder of Elus Capital since August 2017, Brett has demonstrated expertise in real estate investment, management, and advisory, collaborating with family offices and institutions. Previous roles include Consultant for industrial real estate with a private family office, and acquisitions and joint ventures at North American Development Group. As EVP and Head of Business Development at Brookland Capital, significant contributions led to the successful acquisition and development of multifamily assets. Earlier career milestones include impactful positions at Friedman Management, Bulwark Bay Investment Group, Meridian Capital Group, GFI Capital, and Banc of America Securities, focusing on marketing, mortgage brokerage, and financial analysis. Brett holds a BBA in Finance and Management from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and has a strong foundation from Horace Mann School.
