Nery Neto is a Senior Oceanography Advisor at Nortek since September 2021, focusing on collaboration between academic users and the development team, alongside user assistance and pre-release testing of instruments. Previously, Nery served as a Sales Engineer and Environmental Consultant from January 2010 to September 2023, specializing in data analysis, instrument deployment, and environmental impact assessments. Nery's academic journey includes a PhD in Oceanography from The University of Western Australia, where research centered on the impact of seagrass on sediment transport processes. Additional experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist at CP+ Soluções em Meio Ambiente and Oceanographer at CB&I, both involving data treatment and fieldwork. Nery holds a Master of Science in Physical Oceanography and has pursued further education in web programming and sea-level modeling.
