Lady Marianne Polinga has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and industries. Lady Marianne began their career as a Lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University in 2010, followed by a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines from 2010 to 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Laboratory Head at the Advanced Device and Materials Testing Laboratory, where they provided technical expertise and developed a system for laboratory management.
In 2015, Lady Marianne Polinga joined SunPower Philippines Manufacturing Limited as a CTD Senior Process Engineer, a role they held until 2017 when they transitioned to a Senior Process Engineer position at STMicroelectronics. While at STMicroelectronics, they were responsible for material characterization and underwent training for wirebond process.
In 2017, Lady Marianne Polinga joined Maxeon Solar Technologies as a Staff CTD Process Engineer, where they were in charge of characterizing and qualifying wet chemical etch processes for new technology high-efficiency cells. Lady Marianne continued in this role until 2023.
In the same year, Lady Marianne Polinga also joined SunPower Corporation as a Staff CTD Process Engineer, a position they held until 2020. Additionally, from 2011 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Mapua Institute of Technology, where they lectured on various materials science and engineering subjects.
Most recently, Lady Marianne Polinga joined NorSun in 2023 as an R&D Process Engineer.
Lady Marianne Polinga completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of the Philippines from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Engineering from the same university from 2002 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the following:
