Rahul Das has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rahul currently holds the position of Vice President, AI and Life Sciences Solutions at Norstella. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Research Consultant at PredxBio.

Rahul's previous role was at ConcertAI, where they served as the Executive Director for AI & Translational Science Solutions. During their time at ConcertAI, they were responsible for building the AI & Translational Science Solutions team and developing go-to-market offerings. Rahul also led the development of an AI/ML pipeline for generating interpretable insights from multimodal data at scale. Additionally, Rahul led a portfolio of AI-driven oncology projects with major biopharma and FDA.

Before joining ConcertAI, Rahul worked at GNS Healthcare in various roles, including Senior Director and Associate Director in Precision Medicine. Rahul also served as Principal Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at GNS Healthcare. In these positions, Rahul played a significant role in precision medicine projects, applying Bayesian machine learning platforms to discover novel biomarkers and targets.

Prior to GNS Healthcare, Rahul worked as a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at The Rothberg Institute and as a Visiting Scientist at Yale School of Medicine. Rahul also held research positions at Washington University in St. Louis, where they served as a Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

Rahul began their academic career at Rice University, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry.

Overall, Rahul Das brings a wealth of experience in AI, life sciences, precision medicine, and bioinformatics to their current role.

Rahul Das obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics and Chemical Physics from Rice University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 2003 to 2005. Rahul'sundergraduate education was at Presidency College, Kolkata, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Chemistry from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Rahul has obtained several certifications. In June 2023, they completed a course on "Transformers: Text Classification for NLP Using BERT" from LinkedIn. Rahul also completed a course titled "Generative AI: Working with Large Language Models" from LinkedIn in May 2023. In June 2020, Rahul obtained a certification for "6.86x: Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning" from MITx (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
