Lise Vinde Roth has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent position was with Norsk Hydro, where they served as the Head of Group People & Organization starting in November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Neste Steg AS for 14 years, specializing in facilitating organizational change and development. Lise Vinde also held a role as a Senior Consultant Network at BeneAgere from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a Lecturer at BI Telemark/Vestfold from 2006 to 2010. Earlier in their career, Lise served as a Managing Consultant at CapGemini Ernst&Young from 2000 to 2004 and held various positions in sales and marketing at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel, Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, and Rieber & Søn ASA.

Lise Vinde Roth holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), which was obtained from 1982 to 1986. Lise Vinde also earned a Master of Management degree in Leadership from BI Norwegian Business School from 1995 to 1998. Before their university education, Lise attended Nøtterøy Videregående Skole from 1977 to 1980 and Island School from 1972 to 1976. In terms of additional certifications, Lise obtained the "Redefining Workplace Learning Analytics" certification from LinkedIn in 2020, and in 2023, they are expected to complete the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme from the University of Oxford, as well as the Collaboration Principles and Process certification from LinkedIn. Lise Vinde also holds a "HR as a Business Partner" certification from LinkedIn, obtained in 2020.
