Kamal Afandi has had a varied work experience since 2002. Kamal began their career as a Sales Assistant at føtex, Dansk Supermarked in 2006. In 2009, they became a Logistic Controller at E-takeaway. In 2010, they were an Intern at Nortelco Electronics. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Consultant for a major baby goods retailer at DTU Business. During this time, they were also the Club Responsible at Torvegaard Fritidscenter, a safe haven for children from the 4th Grade until the age of 18. In 2018, they became the Sales & Operations Planning Project Owner at Daltile México - Mohawk Industries. Since 2020, they have been a Systematic Controller at the Danish Patient Safety Authority. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Production Support Engineer at Norlase.

Kamal Afandi has an extensive education history. Kamal began their studies in 2000 at Gladsaxe Gymnasium, where they studied Mathematics. In 2005, they earned a Global Business Engineer degree from Copenhagen University College of Engineering. In 2012, they attended DTU Executive School of Business as a Consultant for a 100 Days Growth Strategy. In 2016, they began studying Operations and Management Engineering at Aalborg University, and in 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration at EGADE Business School, specializing in Civil Engineering.
