Matias Sunde Øiesvold has a diverse range of work experience. Matias'smost recent role was as a Risk Analytics Intern at Norges Bank Investment Management starting in June 2023. Before that, from January 2023 to June 2023, they worked as a Learning Assistant for EIT3019 Experts in Teams at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU). Matias also served as a Learning Assistant for TDT4110 Information Technology, Basic Course from July 2022 to December 2022, and as an Apprentice Assistant for TDT4102 Procedures and Object-Oriented Programming (C++) from December 2021 to July 2022, both at NTNU.
In 2022, Matias had a summer internship at Vy, where they worked on improving internal processes for measuring train maintenance, repair, and operation. Matias also developed a strategy for selecting appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal use within Vy and for the company's maintenance suppliers. Additionally, they focused on enhancing the company's data quality.
Prior to this, Matias worked as a Store Assistant at Byggmax AB, where they undertook various responsibilities such as operating the cash register, measuring timber on customers' vehicles, replacing price tags, warehouse management without a forklift truck, paint mixing, and restocking shelves. Matias worked in this role for two years from June 2020 to December 2021.
Matias also gained experience as a Learning Assistant for the Institute of Mathematics at NTNU, where they assisted with "kontekurset" (a supplementary course) in Mathematics 1 for students who did not pass the regular exam. Matias also helped with a general refresher course in mathematics provided to new students before they began regular instruction in Mathematics 1. This role lasted from August 2021 to August 2021.
In 2019, Matias worked as a Production Worker at Nexus Group - Global for around 8 weeks. Matias'sprimary responsibility was to produce and package a total of 550,000 membership cards and brochures using a packaging machine for various clients, including housing cooperatives, Color Line, LO, and the Red Cross.
Finally, Matias spent several summers working as a Tennis Coach at Holmen Tennis. Matias mainly assisted with coaching children aged 6-10, as well as more advanced students aged 12-17. Matias'sresponsibilities included conducting training sessions, organizing exercises, and providing assistance when needed. Matias worked in this role from July 2015 to August 2018.
Matias Sunde Øiesvold pursued their higher education from 2020 to 2025 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). During this time, they obtained a degree in Sivilingeniør, specializing in Fysikk og Matematikk (Physics and Mathematics).
