Darcy Wiart has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic training. In 2008 and 2009, they served as a Graduate Assistant at Georgia Southern University, providing orthopedic and general health care for women's swimming and diving team. Darcy also assisted in the coverage of football home games.
From 2010 to 2011, Wiart worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Dubuque Fighting Saints, a USHL hockey team. During their tenure, they oversaw daily practice and game coverage, managed the athletic training room, and scheduled medical appointments for athletes. Darcy also conducted research and developed rehabilitation protocols for surgeries.
Following their time with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, Wiart held various positions, including being an Athletic Trainer at Optim Orthopedics and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. In these roles, they provided medical care to athletes and managed equipment.
From 2015 to 2019, Wiart served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Progreso ISD, where they were responsible for the health and well-being of student-athletes.
In 2019, they joined Orthopaedic Associates - Southern Indiana & Western Kentucky as the Head Athletic Trainer, providing medical assistance until 2020.
In 2021, Wiart moved on to become the Head Athletic Trainer for the Adirondack Thunder, an ice hockey team, until 2022.
Currently, Darcy Wiart works as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Norfolk Admirals.
Darcy Wiart obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Endicott College between the years 2004 and 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Georgia Southern University from 2008 to 2010.
