Heinrich Backmann is an experienced radiologist and department head with a career spanning over two decades in the medical field. Currently serving as Radiology Manager and Head of Department at Nordlandssykehuset HF since February 2010, Backmann has also held positions at Curato Røntgen AS and various roles at Nordlandssykehuset HF starting from 1998. Prior radiology residency experience includes training at multiple hospitals, alongside earlier work as a resident physician. Backmann's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf and a Diplom in Orchestermusik from Folkwang Hochschule.
