Janus Kvistgaarden has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Janus is currently the Adm. Direktør at Fiberkysten A/S since January 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Fiber at Entreprenørfirmaet Nordkysten A/S from June 2019. From August 2016 to May 2019, Janus worked as the Head of City Light Projects at Ørsted. Before that, they had a long tenure at DONG Energy, where they held various positions including Senior Project Lead, Project Manager, and Project Manager, spanning from October 2007 to August 2016. Janus started their career as a Project Manager at Karsten Hansen Elektrik from August 2005 to October 2007.

Janus Kvistgaarden obtained an Academy profession (AP) degree in business economics from Copenhagen Business Academy between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Tec Erhvervsuddannelse and completed a program in Aut. EL-installatør from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in IPMA Niveau D from the International Project Management Association in April 2016.
