Toye Akinwumi, PMP, DASM, currently serves as the Manager of Project Services at Nordion, leading a team to establish project management standards and enhance customer satisfaction on complex engineering projects. With extensive experience in project management, Toye previously held roles such as Project Manager for New Product Development, where responsibilities included defining project scope, executing detailed project plans, and managing risks. Additionally, Toye has taught at Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business and St. Lawrence College, providing insight into project management processes and practices. Other notable experiences include project management roles at SigmaPoint Technologies Inc., CARE Canada, KPMG, and OPEX Oil and Gas, complemented by a Master’s degree in Technology Innovation Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
