Veijo Korhonen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Veijo started their career at Nokia Mobile Phones in 1989, where they held roles such as Engineering Manager in RF and Research Engineer in RF-IC. Veijo then moved on to Nokia Telecommunications, where they served as Senior Technology Manager in RF and Head of R&D in GSM System R&D. In 1998, they joined Nokia Networks as a Program Advisor and later became Site Manager in PP&TM. In 2002, Veijo became the Site Manager for NMedia at Nokia Mobile Phones, where they were responsible for R&D line management and site duties. In 2005, they worked as the Business Development Manager at Refecor, before joining Oulu University of Applied Sciences in 2006 as a Senior Lecturer and Project Manager. In 2012, they worked at Esju Oy as a Senior Specialist in RF, and in 2013, they returned to Oulu University of Applied Sciences as a Senior Lecturer. Since 2014, Veijo has been working at Nordic Semiconductor as a Principal Project Manager, with previous roles as a Principal Project Manager and Principal HW Verification Engineer.
Veijo Korhonen completed a vocational degree in Business at Markkinointi-instituutti from 2005 to 2006. Veijo then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, and IC design at the University of Oulu from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Sotkamo High School from 1982 to 1984, but no degree or field of study information was provided.
