Eirik Midttun is a seasoned Technical Product Manager at Nordic Semiconductor ASA, where responsibilities include maintaining the product vision and roadmap for R&D, creating technical sales and marketing materials, and ideating new product ideas and markets. With a background as a Senior R&D Engineer, Eirik has contributed to the development of Bluetooth LE protocol stacks and standardized testing infrastructures. Previous roles include Principal Engineer and Senior Development Engineer at Data Respons, focusing on embedded software development, and Project Manager and Software Engineer at Nordic Semiconductor, where Eirik led the development of Software Development Kits and desktop tools. Eirik also served as Chairman of the board for Sameiet Mellomila 92-94 and has prior experience as a consultant in maintenance and operations for offshore installations. Educational qualifications include an Ingénieur degree in Networks and Telecommunications from INSA Toulouse and a postgraduate degree in Software Design for Distributed Real-Time Systems from NTNU.
