Thomas Olesen has extensive experience in literature and cultural dissemination, currently serving as a Literatur- og kulturformidler at Norddjurs Kommune since November 2013, where responsibilities include organizing live events, book talks, and managing fundraising efforts. As a Lektør for Dansk Bibliotekscenter since May 2015, Thomas writes weekly book reviews contextualizing them within literary history for library suitability. Additionally, Thomas is the editor of Forfatterstemmer.dk, an online poetry platform, and has held positions as an editorial team member at Litteratursiden.dk and a literature educator at Folkeuniversitetet. Previous roles include serving as the editor for Forlaget Majlund, as well as founding and editing initiatives like PoetryConnexion, which focused on Nordic literature. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Comparative Literature and Semiotics from the University of Southern Denmark.
