Mikkel Jønsson has extensive work experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Mikkel currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at NORD DDB CPH, where they have been since November 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Creative Director at the same company from June 2020 to November 2023. Before joining NORD DDB CPH, Mikkel worked as a Writer at Bloody Amateurs starting from July 2017. Mikkel also held the position of Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Danmark in April 2019. From September 2001 to April 2019, Mikkel owned their own company, REPUTATION, and served as the Owner. Additionally, they served as the Executive Creative Director at Publicis/REPUTATION from August 2001 to April 2019. Mikkel started their career as a Copywriter at Publicis in 2001. Before that, they worked as a Copywriter at Bergsøe 2 from 2000 to 2001, a Copywriter at Mccann from 1997 to 2000, and a Copy Writer at Havana Design and Promotion from 1996 to 1998. Mikkel also gained experience in marketing and finance as a Marketing Project Manager at Dagbladet Politiken from January 1994 to June 1997, and as a Financial Controller from October 1989 to December 1993.

Mikkel Jønsson completed their Master's Degree in Afsætning (HD) at Copenhagen Business School from 1992 to 1996. Mikkel also attended Bankskolen from 1987 to 1989.
