Shane Hughes is a skilled professional in the field of laboratory analysis and pharmaceutical development, currently serving as an R+D Stability/Pharmaceutical Development Analyst at Norbrook Laboratories Ltd since February 2018. With experience as a Cytogenetics Intern at the National Centre for Medical Genetics, Shane has developed proficiency in specimen reception, laboratory maintenance, and analysis. Previously, Shane worked as a Laboratory Scientist at the Irish Equine Centre, handling DNA and tissue samples for genomic projects, and gained experience in quality control and assembly line processes at Manor Farm. Shane holds a degree in Genetics from the University of Liverpool and completed secondary education at Patrician High School.
