Dmitry Timakov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, information technology, and systems development. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Norbit since April 2018, Dmitry leads the Data Science team, overseeing coding, code reviews, testing, and the development of MVPs and POCs, along with conducting business analytics and machine learning training. Prior to this role, Dmitry was the General Manager at Next-Vision from January 2012 to December 2022, where responsibilities included the development of CMS, CRM, and ERP systems, as well as involvement in 3D printing and prototyping. Dmitry also held the position of Head of the Information Technology Department at Jazz Tour from October 2013 to April 2018, managing a team of programmers focused on resource management systems for the tour industry. Dmitry holds a PhD in Nanotechnology from Southwest State University and additional qualifications in Computer Vision from Udacity and a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the same university.
