Julie Guenkel has extensive work experience in finance and taxation. Julie started their career at KPMG in 1998 as a Tax Manager, where they worked until 2004. Julie then joined Johnsen Archer as a Senior Manager and stayed with the company until 2011. After that, they worked at Smythe LLP as a Senior Manager for four years. In 2015, Julie became the CFO of the August Group of Companies, a position they held until 2019. Currently, they are the CFO at NORAM Engineering & Constructors Ltd.

Julie Guenkel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Julie also holds a certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
