Michelle Gutmann has over a decade of experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as Compliance Manager at NIA since 2008, where previous roles included Risk Services Analyst and Risk Support Specialist. Prior to NIA, Michelle worked as an Insurance Compliance Specialist at Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group from March 2018 to February 2021. Additionally, a background as a Birth and Postpartum Doula was established through self-employment from 2007 to 2010, and early experience includes serving as a Medical Receptionist at Rabin, Davis, Margolin, Milligan and Ma MDs from 1997 to 1999. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health from Portland State University and an Associate of Science degree from City College of San Francisco.
