Fumihiro Kato is a seasoned professional currently serving as Vice President at Nomura since February 2020, focusing on data catalog, analytics, and governance, while establishing a firm-wide data catalog and engaging in retail data analytics using various technologies such as Python, SAS, Power BI, and Snowflake. As Director of the Linked Open Data Initiative since August 2012, Fumihiro Kato promotes Linked Open Data in Japan. Previous experience includes serving as a Researcher at the National Institute of Informatics, where responsibilities included project management for a new scholarly discovery service, as well as roles at the Research Organization of Information and Systems and Future Technology Laboratories.
