Haitham Al-Turkestani has a strong background in contracts and sourcing, with experience in various managerial roles. Haitham most recently worked at NOMAC as the Director of Contracts & Sourcing (Global), starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Manager, Contracts & Sourcing (Global) from October 2020 to December 2021. Haitham also served as the Manager of Contracts & Sourcing (KSA) from October 2017 to October 2020 and as a Manager of Procurement from February 2015 to September 2017.
Before joining NOMAC, Haitham worked at Marafiq, where they held the role of Contract Engineer - Yanbu 2 Project from April 2012 to January 2015, and as a Procurement & Contracts Engineer from November 2010 to January 2015. Haitham'searlier experience includes working as a Senior Contract Specialist at SABIC from June 2009 to November 2010.
Haitham Al-Turkestani holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Portland State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2008. Haitham also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, with a duration from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Haitham has acquired several certifications including the SPM - Advanced Diploma in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management from the LEORON Institute in 2019, the Contract and Commercial Management Practitioner (CCMP) from the IACCM in October 2018, the Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) from the American Purchasing Society in February 2016, and the Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) also from the American Purchasing Society in February 2016.
