Maura Brophy

Maura Brophy's work experience begins in 2009 as an Asset Management Associate at Community Preservation and Development Corporation (CPDC), where they later became an Asset Manager responsible for overseeing 2,000 units of multifamily residential housing. Maura joined the Federal City Council in 2016 as a Senior Associate, specializing in infrastructure investment. Maura then held the roles of Associate Director of Transportation and Infrastructure and Director of Transportation and Infrastructure. In 2021, they became the President & CEO of NoMa Business Improvement District.

Maura Brophy has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Elon University. Maura also holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Georgetown University. Additionally, Maura has obtained a certification as a Specialist in Housing Credit Management from the National Affordable Housing Management Association.
