Manu Salmi has extensive experience in the tyre industry, serving as Managing Director of Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd. and Executive Vice President of Nokian Tyres plc since August 2001. Salmi has held multiple roles, including Vice President of Procurement, where responsibilities included global procurement management, sourcing of materials, logistics management, and strategic planning. Additionally, Salmi is actively involved in various boards, including Vice Chairman of the Board of the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, Chairman of the Board of the Rubber Manufacturers’ Association of Finland, and a board member of multiple organizations. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Henley Business School and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Tampere, among other credentials.
