Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on collaborative solutions and educational technology. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has played a key role in developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related devices. Previously, Chris worked as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, contributing to firmware development for the same product line. Prior experience includes electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris also worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Academically, Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
