Torstein Tengs is a Senior Scientist at Nofima since April 2021, with a diverse background in scientific research spanning over two decades. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Scientist at the National Veterinary Institute from January 2010 to February 2022, Scientist at Oslo University Hospital from February 2014 to November 2015, and participation in the Co-Extra European research project as Scientist from 2005 to 2009. Additional experience encompasses postdoctoral positions at the Broad Institute and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and work as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Human Virology. Torstein Tengs holds a Dr. scient. degree in General Genetics from the University of Oslo, completed in 2002.
