Shaun Leivers is a seasoned researcher with a strong background in chemistry and analytical science. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Nofima since September 2022, Shaun leads initiatives on the AnimalFat+ project, focusing on the development of healthier meat products. Prior experience includes postdoctoral roles at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and The University of Manchester, along with a position as a Spectroscopy & Chromatography Analyst at Unilever. Shaun's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an MSci in Forensic & Analytical Science from the University of Huddersfield, complemented by earlier education at The National Academy, Church of England Technology College.
