Salman Malik is a highly experienced researcher with a strong background in virology and biomedicine. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Nofima since March 2022, Salman has previously worked as a Forsker at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences with a focus on VLPs production of PRV-1 and the establishment of a Reverse Genetic system. As a PhD Research Fellow at NMBU School of Veterinary Science, Salman conducted significant research, and prior to that, served as a Research Assistant at Oslo University Hospital, investigating molecular mechanisms of the Erb/Salman's receptor family. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Officer at the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, where Salman managed various research projects and diagnostic tests, and has also engaged in academia through training students in research techniques. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Virology and multiple master's degrees in related fields, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine.
