Omar Runcie has a strong background in engineering and quality control. Omar is currently working at Nofence as a Product Quality Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Nemko as a Project Engineer for four years. Before that, they worked at Benestad Solutions AS as a Senior Test Engineer, where they were responsible for creating physical test systems, conducting research, and performing product testing. Omar also has experience at Schlumberger as a Laboratory and Test Engineer, where they managed environmental qualification testing and designed testing jigs. Omar worked at Stanadyne LLC as an R&D Mechanical Technician, where they built and tested prototype components. Omar's career also includes a role at TI Automotive as an Approval Production Quality Engineer, where they tracked changes in the production process and set up automation machinery. Omar began their career in the United States Air Force as a Special Purpose Mechanic, responsible for maintaining heavy equipment.

Omar Runcie pursued their undergraduate education from 1998 to 2005 at the University of Hartford. Omar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering during this time.
