Robert Lasser, MD, MBA has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. Robert currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Noema Pharma, a role they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Sage Therapeutics as a Pharmaceutical Executive in Medication Development, Access, and Commercialization from March 2018 to September 2023. Robert also served as the Chief Medical Officer at Medday Pharmaceuticals from March 2017 to March 2018.
Before joining Medday Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Lasser worked at Roche as the Group Medical Director for Neurodegenerative Disorders from July 2013 to March 2017. Robert also held the role of Vice President and General Manager in Neuroscience at inVentiv Health Commercial from July 2012 to July 2013.
During their tenure at Shire from October 2010 to July 2012, Dr. Lasser served as the General Manager of the Emerging Business Unit and as Senior Director of Clinical Development-Medical Affairs from October 2008 to October 2010.
Robert founded Neuliance Consulting and Clinical Practice in March 2007 and worked as the Founder until October 2008. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Vice President at Comprehensive NeuroScience (now Comprehensive Clinical Development) from March 2006 to March 2007.
Dr. Lasser began their career at Johnson & Johnson, where they held various positions, including Executive Director of Global Medical Strategy Leader from March 2005 to March 2006 and Senior Director of Medical Leader from April 2001 to March 2005.
Robert also worked at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director of Medical Leader from March 1998 to April 2001. Overall, Dr. Lasser's work experience demonstrates their expertise and leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Robert Lasser completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at Dartmouth College from 1985 to 1989. Robert then obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Boston University School of Medicine between 1989 and 1993. Following that, Dr. Lasser pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at Harvard Medical School from 1993 to 1997. Robert further specialized in Geriatric Psychiatry and Neurodegenerative Disorders as a Geriatric Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health from 1996 to 1998. Later, Dr. Lasser pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Management at The Wharton School, completing their degree between 2004 and 2006.
