Noelia Bonfanti

Lead Performance & Clinical Nutritionist Rowing Netherlands Olympic Committee Team NL at NOC*NSF

Noelia Bonfanti, PhD, has extensive work experience in the field of sports nutrition and academia. Noelia currently holds the position of Lead Performance & Clinical Nutritionist for the Rowing Netherlands Olympic Committee Team NL at NOC*NSF since November 2020. Noelia also works as a Performance & Clinical Nutritionist Consultant at Red Bull Athletic Performance Center since February 2020.

In terms of academic roles, Noelia Bonfanti has held various positions at Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea since 2013, including Director of the Master's Program in Training and Sports Nutrition, Professor of the Official Master's Program in Training and Sports Nutrition, and Professor of the Master's Program in Football Management. Noelia has also been a University Lecturer in the Official Master's degree in Physical Activity and Health, as well as the Master's degree in Exercise and Nutrition for Health at Universidad Camilo José Cela since 2020.

Additionally, Noelia Bonfanti has served as a Director of Doctoral Theses at Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (UNINI México) since 2015 and as a Director of the Expert Course in Nutrition for Body Composition Optimization at Nutrinfo.com since 2017. Noelia has also provided nutrition consulting services through their own practice, Nutrición Deportiva y Clínica Dra. Noelia Bonfanti, since 2007.

Noelia Bonfanti has been involved in teaching nutrition and related subjects at various universities, including Universidad San Jorge and Universidad Isabel 1, where they have taught courses in Sports Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Nutritional and Dietary Practices for Sports.

In 2022, they will assume the role of Head of the Sports Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition Service at Olympia-Grupo Quirónsalud.

Noelia Bonfanti, PhD, obtained a Licenciatura degree in Nutrición from the University of Buenos Aires in 2006. In 2011, they completed a Máster Universitario Oficial en Nutrición y Metabolismo (Investigador) at Universidad de Córdoba. In 2012, they pursued a Máster en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Noelia also obtained a certification as an Antropometrista nivel 3 ISAK from Sociedad Internacional para el Avance de la Cineantropometría in 2013. Finally, they completed their PhD in Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte, focusing on Nutrición en baloncesto profesional, in 2015 from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
