Michael Coburn has a strong background in the aerospace industry, with experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael started their career at Computer Sciences Corporation as a Lead Project Engineer, where they oversaw electrical and mechanical systems design for the F-16 Flight Test Program. Michael then moved on to Allied Signal Ocean Systems as an Operations Director, implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve product quality and cost. At Eaton Corporation, they were the Business Unit Manager, responsible for revamping operations, implementing new business management processes, and driving growth and profitability. Michael further expanded their expertise at Textron as the General Manager of HR, focusing on developing new programs to drive sales. Coburn then joined Smiths Aerospace as the President of Engine Systems, overseeing the aircraft flight control and engine systems business lines. Michael later joined Precision Castparts as the Group Vice President of the SPS Fastener Division, where they integrated multiple acquisitions and established strategic direction and leadership teams. At Permaswage, Coburn served as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations, leading the overhaul of operations strategy, business management systems, and manufacturing and supply chain processes. Michael then joined Cadence Aerospace as the President and Chief Operating Officer, introducing operational capabilities and business systems to enhance overall strategy and direction. Currently, Coburn is the CEO of Noble Aerospace, partnering with a family-owned investment group to acquire and expand aerospace and industrial metal finishing businesses. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their ability to drive operational improvements, strategic planning, and leadership development in the aerospace industry.

Michael Coburn obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Pepperdine University from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they earned a certification as a Certified Director from UCLA in 2015.
