Roderik van Montfrans has a diverse work experience spanning over several well-known companies. Roderik began their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 1993, holding various roles including Legal Counsel and Senior Vice President. In 2001, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Senior Consultant before moving to ING in 2003. At ING, they served as Director, Individual Pensions and held roles in product management and negotiation. In 2010, they became Managing Director of Strategy & Finance at ING Group (Insurance). Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director in Enterprise Risk Management at NN Group. Roderik van Montfrans completed their Master's degree in Civil Law and Corporate Law at Leiden University from 1985 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Gymnasium ? in Amsterdam and Middelburg from 1978 to 1985, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Latin, Dutch, and English. Roderik's education journey began with their primary school education in Amsterdam and Seria (Brunei, Borneo), from 1972 to 1978.
