Aleksey Ovchinnikov currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at NLMK Group since January 2020, following a tenure as Deputy Head of the Security and Information Security Department at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation from August 2017 to October 2019. Prior experience includes holding the position of Chief Information Security Officer at X5 Retail Group from June 2012 to March 2017 and Deputy Head of the Information Security Management Unit at Rosbank from August 2004 to June 2012. Earlier roles involve positions at the State Technical Commission under the President of the Russian Federation and the Information Security Center of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. Aleksey Ovchinnikov holds degrees from the Russian Academy of Public Administration and a Higher Military School, specializing in Information Security.
