Willem-Jan Van Veen is an experienced professional in tax law and organizational psychology, currently serving as the Strategic Coordinator of the Pillar 2 central expertise team at the Dutch Tax Authorities since September 2016. With involvement in various roles including Coordinator for Country-by-Country Reporting and as a member of working groups focused on artificial intelligence and legislative initiatives like DAC7, Willem-Jan plays a key role in tax policy implementation. As a delegate for the Netherlands at OECD Working Party 11 and other groups, Willem-Jan contributes to international tax discussions. Willem-Jan has also held teaching positions at institutions such as the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Nyenrode Business University, sharing expertise in transfer pricing and tax technology. Willem-Jan’s educational background includes degrees in Tax Law and Organizational Psychology from Utrecht University, complemented by ongoing contributions to industry publications and training programs.
