Maarten Stapelkamp is a seasoned fiscalist with extensive experience in taxation and fiscal policy, currently holding the position of Fiscalist Loonheffingen at the Belastingdienst since April 2013, with roles in both non-profit and profit sectors. In addition to this role, Maarten serves as an author for the knowledge bank on payroll taxation at NLFiscaal since May 2021. A brief tenure as a policy officer at the Ministry of Finance occurred in March 2019, where Maarten was temporarily seconded from the Belastingdienst. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a student assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from March 2010 to April 2013. Maarten holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Dutch Law from the University of Groningen and a Post-initial master in Tax Law from Radboud University.
