Alexis Lloyd is an experienced engineer and researcher with a robust background in the fields of materials science and photovoltaic technologies. Currently serving as Lead Production Engineer and Site Quality Manager at NKT Photonics since November 2019, Alexis specializes in designing Lean Manufacturing lines for high-tech fiber laser production. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Production Technician at Fraunhofer USA where research focused on applied contract R&D in photovoltaic technologies, and previous positions at Boston University and Celgene involved significant research contributions in solar energy systems and chemistry. Academically, Alexis holds a Master’s Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Barnard College.
